Did you ever make any mistake in your beauty life? I did, and I am still paying for it. It’s a long story. In this post, I will tell you how I’ve turned an under-eye bump into an eye wrinkle disaster.
A Small Bump
It all started with a small bump (a milium, I think) under my left eye. For a few days, it had been there. I saw no trace of its leaving. I was under the impression that if it didn’t leave now, it would likely become permanent. So, I decided to remove it, manually. Standing in front of a mirror, I used my fingers to push the bump. Finally, I had the bump removed.
Disaster Comes…
But a tiny but not unnoticeable fine line appeared. At first, I thought it would automatically disappear after several days. Of course, it didn’t. I applied a generous amount of eye cream on the spot, but it refused to bounce back to its previous wrinkle-free appearance. I was young then and didn’t care much about it.
However, about one year ago, the real problem began materializing. As I grew mature, the fine line grew too. Regardless of what anti-wrinkle products I applied, the line on my left eye kept aggravating at its own pace.
As I approached closer and closer to the notorious 30-year-old benchmark, the line became longer and longer. When it becomes longer, it’s hard for it to remain unnoticeable.
To say the least, all of my beauty efforts are now centered around my under-eye wrinkles. But the prospect isn’t promising, because, you know, our eye skin is the most delicate part of our skin. Creases on it can be rooted and unmoved like a tree.
The lesson I’ve learned is — never to let any line or wrinkle appear on my face because anyone can easily and conveniently introduce others. As I can see, my left under-eye area is aging way more rapidly than my right one.
I hope you need not a beauty disaster to teach you how vulnerable our eye area is. If there is any eye cream/serum/tonic/home remedy that can reduce the ugly wrinkles, I am all ears.
