bowed legs and skinny pants

Ever since I wrote my post on curing bowed legs with a natural method, I have been receiving comments inquiring about details of the method I use. I have been asked the same questions for so many times that I started to think, well, maybe, it’s time to do a followup post!

First, to set the record straight, I would like to tell you, the natural method demonstrated in the video of my previous post doesn’t COMPLETELY cure my bowed legs. Why? First, for personal reason, I’m simply too lazy to stick with the exercise. So after seeing some improvement, I’ve completely stopped. Second, after some consideration of the structure of my legs, I believe that if I had to get rid of my deformed legs completely, I would have knock knees instead! For some people like me, it’s just impossible to have an aesthetic pair of legs. But fret not, I’ve learned to live with my bowed legs through my 2012 makeover. I’m wearing skinny pants all the time, completing ignore how they might accentuate the defects of my ugly legs!

What Provokes My Change?
So you may wonder, what provokes such a change in me?

First, I would like to let you know, in order to have a better grasp of that fashion sense which I obviously lacked, I started reading various fashion blogs on a daily basis. I used to love the girly and feminine kind of clothing. Frocks, dresses, and knee-length skirts were my faves. However, after a couple of months’ avid reading, I find I’m more drawn to street style which is trendy and stylish with a touch of femininity. I have been captivated by some fashion bloggers’ styles and the way they carry themselves. If you think all of them have perfect body shape, you are wrong. Just like you and me, some of them even have bowed legs. However, their bowed legs don’t hinder them in any way. Skinny pants, which were deemed by me as my archenemy, are actually their staple.

My Venture Into Skinny Pants
It was when I started dabbling in skinny pants. The fact is, I find my legs actually don’t look as horrible as I imagined they were. It’s then I discovered that even with bowed legs, I can still be beautiful and confident! The lesson?

It’s all about self-confidence and how you perceive yourself in your own mind. Having bowed legs may not be attractive. However, that doesn’t mean you have to see yourself unfavorably. How you see yourself is just a matter of angles. If you are comfortable with and confident about yourself, it just doesn’t matter you have bowed legs or not.

Of course, I’m not suggesting that bowed legs aren’t a problem for all of us. For extreme cases, it still matters. However, for the majority of us who are at the acceptable level, I think there is no need to trouble ourselves with such an issue.

Gone are the days when I cared so much about my ugly legs!!!

One Response to I have bowed legs and didn’t wear skinny pants, but no more!

I don’t think your legs are ugly. They are slim — and i think lots of people want slim legs (I feel uncomfortable saying this because I’ve got slim legs too and it sounds so self-serving, haha!).

I like all types of fashion but I’m drawn to street wear, too. I like wearing dresses with boots or under a pair of military or denim jacket.
