Review: Marie Veronique Organics Anti-Aging Body Oil

Our neck and hands can be as age-revealing as our face. But did you pay due attention to them? Take myself as an example. I’ve done everything my purse allows to improve the look of my face and eyes. However, I’ve done little to my neck and hands. Yes, I’m a diligent user of hand cream. But that’s all I’ve done to my hands. Shouldn’t our hands and neck deserve more love? That’s when I bought Marie Veronique Organics’ Anti-Aging Body Oil.
Ingredients
First things first, here is the ingredient list.

Use for Hands and Neck Only
This body oil is clear. It has a fluid and runny consistency like MVO Anti-Aging Oil. Rose and neroli essential oils give it a floral and fruity aroma, which at first is a bit overwhelming for my nose. But over time I’ve come to love it and accept it for it leaves me smell fresh and lovely.
Okay, before I move on, let me tell you something else first. Although it’s called “body oil,” I never used it topically on my body. Instead, I only use it on my hands and neck. Priced at US$36 (60ml), it’s a pricey product for a humble gal like me. So you can imagine how lasting this product can be if you use it the way I do. In fact, I’ve been using it for four months, and there is still half bottle left!
Absorption varies on different body parts
So, how does this product perform? In terms of absorption, it varies depending on what body part you use it on. When I apply it on my hands, the oil can be absorbed within seconds. Two squirts are all I need for my hands. For my neck, I need one squirt only. However, the oil stays on my neck for minutes without getting absorbed and I guess my blanket must be stained with oil. Oh, well~ I think that’s the price you have to pay if body oil is your thing.
Rejuvenate Neck and Hands
To tell the truth, I didn’t expect anything spectacular would happen. However, I was wrong. After using MVO Anti-Aging Body Oil for I-don’t-know-how-long, I find my hand skin softer and less prone to dryness. I don’t even have to put on as much hand cream in the dry winter mornings when I use it the night before. My hands look and feel smoother and more moisturized than before.

As for my neck, a miracle-like transformation has happened! Sorry for using such emotional wording, but there is no exaggeration in it. I used to have two spectacular “tree rings” on my neck. Even with diligent massage for a couple of months, the rings were still there around the front part of my neck. I had no hope that I could make them disappear. But still I did the little effort I can do. I apply MVO body oil on my damp neck every night at bedtime. Then I massage my neck in an upward motion to help absorption. In a lapse of a couple of months, the rings’ depth have reduced by half! The photo above shows you the current status of my neck. Rings? Barely there. Even though my neck isn’t completely free of wrinkles, I’m not afraid of showing them. Yay!
My Take
I will give a thumbs-up for MVO Anti-Aging Body Oil. It’s light and non-greasy, with a lovely fruity scent. Using it consistently has helped me improve the look of my hands and neck. If I have to shed US$36 somehow, I will choose to invest in a quality product that really works. This is a product that I can find zero faults. If you haven’t tried it before, I highly recommend you do.

I’ve always have a habit of extending the moisturizer I’m using on my face to my neck and recently, I’ve also included serums. I’ll be 41 soon and I realized the skin (on my body, face too so I’m using MVO’s Anti-Aging Oil Plus) gets dryier as I age. I almost include the body oil in my recent MVO purchase to make up for the free shipping but went with another jar of Vitamin C Capsules instead. With the rave you wrote, I’m so ordering the Anti-Aging Body Oil in my next purchase!!
So you are also a convert of MVO? Glad to hear this!
I only took on the habit of using oil on my neck recently. I’m glad that I noticed it early on, or else I would have to make up for my sluggishness later on.
Really? It helped your neck? Wow…I didn’t use the oil on my neck though. Hmm…maybe I should go back and check it out.
I think it’s the combo effect of massage and the oil that makes miracle happened. (Oh, is my rave too sentimental?)
Sentimental? No…didn’t make me feel that way but certainly made me take a 2nd look at using oils for my neck. I’ve been using some oils and sometimes creams but the effects are so-so. How long did you massage? To be honest, I’m very lazy about caring for my neck. As it is, have to spend time on the face and then the neck is like…oh just slap on the oil or the cream. :p
It takes time to see the result. At first, I just used cooking oil. I saw some result after a couple of months. Then, I replaced the cooking oil with MVO body oil. It took another few months to see the result. I massaged for about one minute (or less than that) per night. Never got the patience to do more than that
Hope that helps
