My First Marie Veronique Organics Order

It’s hard not to try one of the most raved about natural skincare brands if you are into natural skincare. And after much anticipation and waiting, my first Marie Veronique Organics order has finally arrived! (I should have blogged about this a few days earlier, but I was too busy with my job and other commitments …)
Marie Veronique Organics’ products, according to what I find on its website, are hand-made in a lab in Berkeley, California. It uses local, organic, or fair trade ingredients in its products to make sure they can be friendly to both skin and environment. Their packaging is fully recyclable, which I think is also the reason I find a whole bunch of brown shredded paper in my package. You can only buy Marie Veronique from its online store, which is to ensure that only quality products are offered to its customers. I find Marie Veronique Organics’ website packed with all kinds of skincare information. If you are interested, have a look at it.
Although it’s my first time to try out any product from the company, I’ve heard much raves about it. To say I’m piqued is an understatement. I feel that I have to try it no matter what. As for what I’m most interested in? Of course it’s the anti-aging oil and face screen. I’ve been waiting for my old beauty stock to run out in order to qualify for a new purchase (See? though sentimental, I’m still sane and sensible.) So, even though it costs me a good US$75 (including the shipping), I am all for it! Good, it’s now on my laps.
The one I order is the Anti-Aging Travel Kit (see the photo above), and except the four items included in the kit, I also got a free sample, which is a sample-sized face screen of medium tint. I can’t wait to play with them! Of course, reviews are coming.

Gasp!! I read about this brand at Viva Woman!! Sounds great and promising! However, the price is a major downfall for me. I wanted to try out their sunscreen but I don’t want to splurge so much money on that. Maybe later? haha!!
Yes, I do think that price is an issue, but many of the natural skincare blogs I follow have somehow blogged about this brand. I am piqued, and it’s hard not to give it a go! Curiosity has got the better of me.
Don’t get your expectations too high about the sunscreen and give it some time if it doesn’t work out well for you at first.^^ The application takes a bit of getting used to and so is the texture. But it protects well and seems to blend better than most other all natural sunscreen brands I’ve tried. I’m loving their anti-aging oil too. I think that one’s quite a gem ’cause it really made some difference on my skin.
Vivi, thanks for your reminder. I’ve read your review about the sunscreen, and I know how it might be if you don’t apply the anti-aging oil as a preliminary. What I am concerned most, though, is the tint, because I don’t usually use tinted sunscreen. This is actually the second tinted sunscreen I try in my lifetime.
